Ego is The Enemy

Often when you chase after trying to be somebody, you take shortcuts, you compromise your beliefs and you take more for yourself than you share with others.

When you want to do something, you are motivated more by your purpose than by the external bullshit validation that comes with trying to be somebody. You’re more willing to work your arse off, stay true to your purpose and your beliefs, and treat others like they are part of your tribe.

Be less worried about how much credit, recognition, and rewards you get in your quest to be somebody, and be more concerned with how much impact and influence you have in your quest to do something fucking great.

Think hard about what motivates your behaviour and your choices. Is it to be somebody, or to do something? The next time you’re at a junction on your path to your end goal, take the “low ego” path of doing something epic with your life and we promise it will feel fucking mint.
